Future Business Leaders of America offers a variety of state and national opportunities that promote leadership development. Participating in FBLA conferences offers members the opportunity to form useful and lasting networks with fellow members from within or outside their state and with a variety of business leaders. These contacts foster a better understanding of the FBLA structure. In addition, participating in these activities prepares members to be tomorrow’s business and community leaders. FBLA promotes community partnerships and workforce development. Leadership conferences give students the opportunity to meet and compete with other FBLA members from around the state as well as the nation. Competitive spirit and recognition of excellence reflects important aspects of the educational process that prepare students for their roles and the understanding of the workforce system. ​​
